An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Application Support Engineer with extensive hands-on experience supporting & maintaining software & applications. As a key member of the Support & Operations team, this position will require a candidate with strong interpersonal skills along with exceptional technical capability to provide and take accountability of 2nd/3rd line application.
Essential knowledge & experience in: 
•C#, .NET, Java, and PowerShell
•Cloud computing platforms (specifically MS Azure)
•Service Management processes – Incident, Problem, and Change Management, supported by ITIL certifications
•Working within a Support & Operations / Service Operations function supporting applications and software
•Application Patching
•Solving repetitive problems using automation
•BizTalk & Logic Apps
Desirable/good working knowledge & experience in:
•Infrastructure provisioning tools and techniques
•Service Automation & Tooling
•Windows Server (Active Directory, Disaster Recovery, Windows Certification, Fail-Over Clustering)
•Monitoring – SCOM, OMS, Application Insights
•Software development skills
•SOAP & RESTful.
•Apache CXF & Tomcat
•Windows communication foundation (WCF)
•Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
•Microsoft Azure certifications
•Confluence / SharePoint
•Microsoft Office 365
•Test driven development
•SQL Server
